Bach would be duly impressed !........fv.........VIVA
a very powerful piece..
Lovely work . Well done !!
Phenomenal mastery of storm and wave! The drama and emotion expressed are deep and mysterious.
The dangerous is often beautiful, as you have so masterfully shown here. Wonderful work! ):
You do such stunning work, really captured the essence here
Aloha Michael, you are invited to add your beautiful work to Dimensions. This is gorgeous :)))
Wonderful work...lovely colors...
I can only agree with the above comments. For anybody who has been out on the sea or ocean in a wild storm, you have captured the feeling beautifully. Like you said it is also a time when you you feel, in spite of the fear, incredibly alive and in absolute awe at the fantastic power of nature when it flexes it muscles. Thanks Michael for your generous words on my ice pier photo.

Tnx Viv...a Sid girl would know about the sea...like the once famous man, Mr. Dundee before he was, said about Australia in those brilliant tourism adverts..."if ya come to Australia...you're gonna get wet"...water everywhere you look...even where you don't look:)....
The sea for me is like the creative process...ebb and flow...long periods of calm and serenity often punctuated by abject terror:)...so when madam la mer is feeling a bit petulant, as in this work, like a beautiful women, that makes her all the more desireable.
Thanks Gavin...yes, I've been out when madame la mer is feeling a bit mean-spirited...very humbling,,,ah...but never does one feel so alive (when scared spitless?:)
Hi Michael. I would say you've sailed, when I have but read. ATMOSPHERE.
this is very dramatic....you can feel the movement,,,the storm....love it
